Our Team
Mary Beth, CEO
Hi, I'm Mary Beth- mother of 4 boys, wife of an overcommitted test pilot, and head honcho at Adventure Refined.
Although my educational and professional background is in Public Health, our nomadic Air Force life has offered me the chance to try my hand at lots of different roles-- most recently, vacation rental management.
Running Adventure Refined has been both exciting and fulfilling as a Superhost on Airbnb and a Premier Partner at VRBO.
In 2018, I was selected to serve as an advisor on Expedia Corp's Community Advisory Board, representing managers and owners from around the world. I even had an opportunity to try my hand at television when I was featured as the "Guest Stay Expert" on A&E's show, Vacation Rental Potential when it was filmed in Mammoth. In 2019, I was honored to be asked to speak at the VRBO annual conference in Scottsdale, AZ.
What's even more important is that I've been able to play a small part in the lives of our guests: family reunions, weddings, birthdays, even a few memorials. It is a profound thing, I believe, that strangers become friends after they visit our homes.
Whether you found us through our vacation rentals Mammoth or even if you just stumbled by, I hope you find something here that helps you enjoy Mammoth Adventure, Refined.

Todd, CFOTodd isn't just my husband. He's my Mr. Fixit, Head Cheerleader, Attitude Optimizer and Chief Pilot.
He makes it possible for us to travel often, using either his 6 place Barron or his homebuilt experimental Stits Playboy (which he built in high school. Yikes.) The aerial photos on the site were all taken from his airplane. To see more aerials, click here. |

JojoThis college freshman is our resident angler and adventure lover. His life philosophy is to: "Live more, worry less." He often disappears in the wilderness and returns with artistic, breathtaking photos of the world he's encountered.
He's developed a great relationship with many local fishing guides so has enjoyed fishing many of the best spots from Big Pine to Lee Vining.. He also works at Mammoth hospital as an EMT -- here's hoping you never have a reason to meet him there. |
The LittlesThe Littles (who aren't so little anymore), or Best Twins as they call themselves, are not actually twins at all, but my youngest sons who are 18 months apart.
As a part of our 'staff' they are primarily responsible for testing restaurants, local activities, ice cream, candy stores, playgrounds, parades, ski runs, experiences and other amazing adventures to give me a pint-sized thumbs up or thumbs down. They are also in charge of early morning snuggles, encouragement, and enthusiasm. |
