How many parking spaces are available?
Each condo has 2 designated parking spaces in our spacious garage.
In addition, there are two first come, first served spaces for guests.
Please do not park in the driveway due to the risk of falling ice and snow in winter and need to access the dumpster in summer.
Street parking is available along Lakeview (daytime only).
Some overnight parking options are available in town. For more info, read more here.
If you choose to park off-site, please check signs as Mammoth does tow and ticket illegally parked vehicles, particularly in winter.

Will our lifted truck fit in your garage?
Garage clearance is 8 feet.
We are considering renting two condos together for a family reunion. How close are the Sonenalp units located to each other?
Sonenalp at Canyon Lodge has 4 total units, 2 on each floor. The condos all share a central stairwell and foyer area.
If you need 6 bedrooms, we suggest that you rent an entire floor of the building, which is 2 condos, connected by the central stairwell/foyer and a private back balcony. With the entire floor of the building you will have 6 beds, 6 baths, 2 private North facing balconies, 1 expansive back balcony that houses the grill, sauna and hot tub.
We also offer 9 (3 condo) and 12 bedroom (4 condos/entire building) options for large groups.
Apogee at Mountainside is about 200 yards from Sonenalp and will sleep another 11 guests.

We're so bummed that all your condos are booked for our dates. Do you have any other properties?
Please email me at [email protected] or through the contact form below and we will do our best to help you find accommodations. It is not uncommon for us to take bookings 6-9 months in advance so please do let us know as soon as you have firm dates for travel.
How does check in work? Do we have to go somewhere to get keys?
You won't need to go anywhere to pick up or drop off keys. Approximately 3 days prior to your check in you will receive the password for the check-in portion of the Guest Guide (under Guest Guide links above) . Just arrive at the condo and use the info from the Guest Guide to access the lock code for your condo. If you need help with access or information at any time, don't hesitate to contact Mary Beth 760-965-4123.
Now that pot is legal in California, you allow smoking, right?
Thanks for your question. We do not allow smoking or vaping in our buildings, in the condos, or on our grounds. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on all Adventure Refined property, including the balconies and garden.
Is your property handicapped accessible or appropriate for people with limited mobility?
The good news is that the interior of our Sonenalp condos could work well for people with limited mobility. Each condo has all the bedrooms and living spaces on a single floor, unlike many homes in Mammoth which have interior stairs. Our first floor condos have larger doorways to at least one bedroom and bath in order to accommodate persons with limited mobility.
The issue is that there are stairs leading to the building itself. From the driveway or the garage, there is a full flight of stairs. The building does not have an elevator. To enter or exit the building, you must climb at least 1 set of stairs.
Apogee at Mountainside is on 3 levels and is not suitable for persons with limited mobility.

How close are the properties to the ski lift? to The Village? to Town?
Sonenalp at Canyon Lodge is located on the mountain, very close to Canyon Lodge (200 yards). We are about 3/4 mile to The Village and less than 2 miles to "town" amenities like Post Office, Fire Station, etc. We are 2.5 miles to Vons Grocery.
We are less than 50 feet from 2 trolley stops, stop #74 and #75.
Apogee at Mountainside is adjacent to Canyon Lodge and is the closest accommodation to the Canyon Lodge lifts.
Check out our customized Google maps that includes our location and major locations in town. Click here to view it.

Do we need a car to get around Mammoth?
Most guests choose to bring a car but the good news is that Mammoth has an excellent transport system with stops very close to all our Adventure Refined homes. There are also 2 very good cab companies in town, plus spotty uber service.
For detailed info on getting around town using the town trolley and all ground transport options, click here.
Don't even consider using ground transport without the TRANSPORT app, which provides real-time routing and schedule info. You can find full details here.
