Whether you're a local resident stocking up on essentials or a visitor in need of provisions for your mountain adventures, Mammoth Lakes offers a couple of grocery options.
  1. Vons: Located in the heart of Mammoth Lakes, Vons is a popular grocery store chain that offers a wide range of products. From fresh produce, meats, and seafood to pantry staples, household items, and ready-to-eat meals, Vons is a one-stop destination for all your grocery needs. The store is known for its friendly staff, well-organized aisles, and a selection of both mainstream and specialty products. Vons also provides convenient services such as online shopping with curbside pickup or delivery, making it a convenient choice for locals and visitors alike. If you place your order in advance, our partner, Mammoth Baby can stock your condo before checkin.
  2. Grocery Outlet Bargain Market: I like to say that Grocery Outlet is what you'd get if Aldi and Trader Joes had a baby. So if you're looking for discounted prices and a diverse selection of products, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is worth a visit. This store offers a wide range of groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy products, pantry staples, and specialty items. What sets Grocery Outlet apart is its commitment to offering discounted prices on well-known brands, making it an affordable option for budget-conscious shoppers. They are my go-to for bagged ice and snacks.
  3. Shell Mart: Shell Mart is a convenient option for quick grocery needs. This gas station convenience store offers a selection of snacks, drinks, basic groceries, and grab-and-go food items. It's an ideal spot to grab a few items on the go or for emergencies when you need essential supplies. I'd try to avoid this if you can.
